Deep down, a spark flickers – a longing to play, to create, to feel the joy that once danced freely within you. Life's pressures may have dimmed that light, whispering doubts and fears. But your inner artist yearns to be seen, to be heard, to reclaim the magic that is uniquely yours. Creative Reclamation isn't just a challenge or retreat, it's a homecoming. It's an invitation to rediscover the courage of your childhood dreams, to silence the inner critic, and to fill your heart with the vibrant colors of self-compassion. This is where you remember who you truly are: a creator, a dreamer, a soul capable of boundless joy.
Why?
You’re arriving with…
A need to have a little fun and reconnect with your creativity in an easy and light way
A sense of longing and yearning to reconnect with your creative self.
Feeling like you know you have something to bring into the world, but you let the critical voices get into your head before the voices of encouragement and self-belief
Hesitation and fear about creating and being judged.
Self-doubt and an adopted belief that you are not "artistic" or "talented."
A heavy heart that seems to carry the weight of past creative disappointments or criticisms, and even non-creative related circumstances in life
A sense of disconnection and detachment from your inner child and playful spirit.
A need for self-care and a deep desire to nurture yourself and find moments of peace from being overstimulated.
A feeling of being overwhelmed and/or burnt out by the constant pressures of life.
Feeling like you’re in a rut or that life feels rigid and predictable and you’ve lost a sense of wonder and curiosity
You’re leaving with…
A renewed sense of creative freedom, allowing you to feel empowered to create without fear or judgment.
Increased self-compassion to embrace your imperfections and treat yourself with more kindness.
A stronger connection with your inner child as you rediscover the joy and wonder of play.
A sense of emotional healing as we work to release past creative wounds and find more peace and inner security
A feeling of connection and belonging as you share your journey within a safe and supportive community.
A lighter heart that feels less burdened by negativity and more open to joy.
A feeling of empowered authenticity as you leave knowing that your creative expression is valid and valuable.
A new found sense of playfulness that you can take into your every day life.
A restored sense of self as you become more connected to the uniqueness of who you are.

TEXTURES OF THIS EXPERIENCE
This experience feels like… coming to art class 1x a week. A space where time doesn’t exist. You’re sprawling out on the floor as scraps of paper, glitter, and glue surround you. It’s the sound of blue construction paper being cut, the feeling of glue on your fingers, and getting lost in play and wonder.
Weekly Art Projects
Each Sunday (by 10am Pacific Time) you will receive written and audio instructions for your art project (we respect all learning styles, here!) via email. Your assignments will also drop automatically every Sunday inside of your portal which you will create at checkout. Though each project and reflection exercise is designed to be simple and accessible (1-2 hrs a week), each project is intentional and focuses on a specific topic designed to help you work through your creative fears, blocks and hesitations.
Creative Companions
Your weekly projects will come with reflection questions and prompts. You’ll receive a digital journal via Notion, but I highly encourage you to get a physical journal for your 4 weeks (and beyond!) to continue to interact with the connection between your mind and body as we dive into this tactile universe. You’ll also receive pre-recored “Creative Companion” videos of my own process while doing each weekly project so you can have some company as you create if you choose.
Community Group Chat
You will get access to our private Telegram group where you will have the opportunity to share your finished projects with our new friends and classmates who will be journeying with you throughout these 4 weeks. This group is meant to serve as a space for accountability and safe sharing without judgement. I will be moderating and engaging with our group throughout the 4 week, as well as dropping in inspired insights as they arise. Q&A will be every Thursday.
Your Host
Hi, I’m little Sirah. I grow up to be a Creative Director & Designer, which is somehow exactly what I was always going to do even though the path to get there was wound-y and unconventional.Creating is my favorite thing to do - whether that’s through painting, drawing, writing, design or music. I love the process of making an idea come to life and helping others do the same. I can’t wait to meet you and guide you through this experience as we create and play together.

the Details
-
This week we’ll observe what voices or sensations arise when we begin a project or creative work that stop us short from fully expressing ourselves or starting. We’ll identify where the voice of the inner critic came from and work with tools and practices to help us move past the limitations of this voice.
-
This week, we’ll meet the muse - our inner child. We’ll revisit the essence of who we were before we learned how to doubt our creativity or adopted the words of others as our own lens through which we view ourselves and our creative potential. We’ll explore what made them come to life and will engage in practices that will help us connect to them to restore our creative our spirit.
-
In week 3, we’ll journey into our inner world and discover the colors, textures, images, sounds, and more that make up our most sacred space within ourselves. Our inner world is how we protect our creative spirit and in this week we’ll develop a relationship to this place within us so we can access our creativity and nurture our sense of play and joy in our every day lives.
-
We’ll close out our 4 weeks together by exploring what gives us creative confidence and helps us sustain our creativity. We’ll create a tool for empowering you to work through creative blocks or negative voices that try to resist you from creating.
THIS EXPERIENCE IS FOR YOU IF…
You want to re-engage with your creativity or explore your artistic side before in a way that is fun, exploratory, and low-stakes. If you tend to carry a lot of self-doubt and criticism, this is a beautiful way to begin to work through this in a safe and supportive ecosystem that is designed to both reflect on these limitations, hesitations, and resistances, and ACT on moving through them.

This challenge is for anyone who feels creatively stuck, longs to reconnect with their inner child, struggles with perfectionism, or simply wants to explore their creativity in a safe and supportive environment. No prior art experience is necessary!
-
Absolutely! In fact, this experience was created with someone like you in mind :) This challenge is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their artistic experience. The focus is on the process, not the product.
-
You receive a materials list in your welcome email that will be sent on March 3 (Pacific Time).
I’ve crafted this experience to use simple materials to hopefully be as accessible as possible to all, however if affordability may pose as a roadblock, I encourage you to:
1. Rummage around with what you might already have in drawers, old boxes, etc. Creativity is resourcefulness after all ;)2. Reach out to friends, family and neighbors if they have any materials they are willing to give away
3. On Facebook, there are Buy Nothing pages you can join in your neighborhood where you can ask for these materials.4. You can browse and post on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for people giving away art materials. I’ve personally acquired MANY art materials by doing this!
-
You will receive an email from me every Sunday by 10am PST with your new assignment + a link to the pre-recorded “Creative Companion” video if you’d like to create alongside me. Since you will be creating an account when you purchase this experience, you will also be able to access the assignments via my website when you login.
I will send a notification to the group Telegram as well when the new project has dropped. -
Instead of live group classes, I wanted to give you the flexibility of being able to complete your projects on your own time. However, I wanted you to have company while you create (if you choose to), so will be pre-recording my own process through the week’s project. You will get to see my real-time process and I will also accompany the videos with music and some audio guidance or inspirations. You can play these videos in the background as you create your project as a way to feel supported and engaged while you make.
-
You will get access to the creative companion videos until Apr 30.
-
Each week, you should plan to spend approximately 1-2 hours on the art project and journaling. The time commitment is flexible, and you can work at your own pace.
You can complete your project in one day, or you can even split it up into multiple days if you only have a little bit of time each day to work on it. -
While formal critiques aren't provided, you will have access to our group Telegram where you are encouraged to share your creations in a safe and supportive space. The intention for this space to allow all of us to be seen in our full expression with where we’re at without judgement or fear.
-
Yes! You are more than welcome to ask questions through our community Telegram. I will be monitoring and engaging in the Telegram throughout the week and will reserve Thursdays as Q&A Days (however you are welcome to send questions at any time - they will just be answered on Thursdays).
-
You will receive your welcome email with all of your experience materials on March 3rd (Pacific Time).
However, we will not officially kickoff until March 10th when you will receive the first email assignment.
The experience ends April 4.

There are no refunds for this experience.
